Congratulations! Shad Cruz has been chosen as one of our two Employees of the Month. Shad is Partners in Care Foundations Long-Term Support Services (LTSS) Clinical Manager. He holds a dual Master’s in Social Work and Science of Gerontology from the University of Southern California (USC). He has an extensive background in case management and managing programs. Additionally, he was a Yoga Instructor for 12 years.
Shad joined the agency as a Gerontological Social Work Intern through USC in August 2019. Since then, he has been a great asset to the agency on so many levels. Foremost, he loves to share knowledge and has provided multiple trainings to staff to better their skillset. Shad has helped to expand Partners clinical focus by developing more opportunities such as the Mental Health Pilot and providing general support to all the aspiring clinical social workers within the agency. In addition, providing clinical oversight to help optimize the services we provide to our community. He has been involved in multiple startups, with his main role in the Health Homes Program (HHP) and has held an integral role in the re-development of NCQA Case Management and the Quality Insurance Department.
