Partners’ Workforce Development Center is training today, the invaluable social care workforce needed for tomorrow.
The online training course is ideal for individuals in the social care field seeking to expand their knowledge in one or more subject areas. We offer online training in English starting June 2023, and Spanish by the fall of 2023, and it is asynchronous, with required in-person zoom discussion groups and deep dives, which allows for flexibility to learn on your own schedule, within a defined timeframe.

Partners’ on-line learning course addresses barriers associated with training, such as:
- difficulty traveling to trainings,
- financial constraints,
- time constraints,
- incompatible times,
- language barriers,
- Partners will offer its training in Spanish beginning the fall of 2023
Incentive/Stipend:

The California Department of Aging will provide $30 per hour for time spent in training to workers who successfully complete the training modules until December 31, 2023. The payment is administered by the Cell-Ed portal.
Enrollment Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- California residents with proof of residency (Driver’s License or Utility Bill)
- Must be currently working as a direct care provider or in a similar field for at least 2 months
- Must be able to provide pay stubs proving work for at least 2 months in a direct service position
