Congratulations to Joy Guihama for receiving employee of the month for the month of August.
The Community Wellness Department is excited to have Joy Guihama as one of the newer members of their team. Joy, the Director of the IIID Programs has acclimated to her new role beautifully. She came to Partners with 10 years of experience as a Division Manager with the Health Promotion, Planning and Public Policy Development Division of the Pasadena Public Health Department, and most recently 8 years as a Program Officer at the Craig H. Neilson Foundation in Encino.
She immediately stepped into her new role learning the required elements of her position and has shown great willingness to help out at all levels with our team. Joy helped to plan our Volunteer Appreciation Day, leads the department’s IIID scheduling meetings and led a significant number of workshops when staff left the department just before the end of the contract year. Joy has cleaned, ordered and organized very large amounts of workshop supplies – a la Marie Kondo. Joy has shown herself to be a real team player and we are happy to have her as a leader in Partners in Care Foundations’ Community Wellness team.
