Job Title: Partners Workforce Training Specialist

Reports to: Vice President, Community Wellness | HomeMeds | Workforce Development

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Social Work, Health Education,  related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience related to the duties of the position
  • At least 2-years of workplace Adult Education training experience required

Responsibilities:

  • The Training Specialist will also work with outside consultants and assist in reviewing and updating existing content and curriculum, organizing, and distributing learning materials, and supporting the consultants, Project Lead and Senior Management in the development of new learning tools
  • Assists the Project Lead with maintaining training resources including intranet content, video libraries, learning management system and other tools to meet the current and emerging needs of Partners
  • Supports the development of program content, agendas, and logistics of in person and on-line training programs including new hire training and annual updates to training modules
  • Collaborates with Senior Management to edit and curate training materials, and activities that enhance the learning process, including study guides, frequently asked questions, and program overviews, etc
  • Develops and maintains general knowledge of social service field relevant to Partners’ programs as well as the Community Care Hub training needs, which may include key business concepts
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of state-of-the-art adult learning principles, theories, and the practical methods used in career-oriented training and professional development in the social service industry
  • Establishes productive relationships with coworkers, customers, affiliates, and partners to accomplish team objectives
  • Supports the Project Lead in reporting and documentation processes related to learning metrics
  • Clearly communicates technical details with colleagues and customers
  • Recognizes problems quickly and discusses them with the Project Lead and VP, and suggests new approaches to solve them
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

  • Work Environment: typical office environment as well as remote work environment
  • Some travel may be required

Required education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2-year degree plus 4 years of job-related experience OR 6 years of job-related experience
  • Required Work Experience: 2 years of job-related experience
