Job Title: Director, HCBA

Reports To: Senior Director      

Qualifications

Requires master’s degree in health/human services field, and at least 10 years of experience managing health-related home and community-based services for adults.

Requires a minimum of two years of experience supervising care management staff.

Responsibilities  

  • Plans, organizes and develops the implementation, according to state regulations, of a comprehensive case management model for clients 25 years of age and up.
  • Supervises and evaluates office staff, supervising care management staff, and care management staff for site.
  • Recruits, selects and orients new staff in consultation with supervisors.
  • Reviews expenditures to confirm compliance with budget.
  • Accountable for budget performance; works with supervisors and Vice President to develop a realistic, state-compliant annual operating budget.
  • Works with staff to approve appropriate vendors for waived services.
  • Analyzes program operations internal and external to the program and recommending changes to improve service quality for clients.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with public and private agencies providing services to clients.
  • Ensures provision of in-service training for all staff.
  • Responsible for resolving provider/client complaints including grievances.
