Jody Dunn, Co-founder and Vice President of Service Integration at Partners in Care Foundation, has announced that she will be transitioning out of her full-time responsibilities at the organization to focus on consulting work.
Ms. Dunn’s announcement this month comes as her remarkable contribution to health care management and reform was recognized in her nomination for the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s, 14th Annual Women in Business Awards, in the category of Non-Profit Executive of the Year. Ms. Dunn joined other nominees and honorees at the award luncheon, which celebrates women from across the San Fernando Valley who have made outstanding achievements in the business community.
Over the past 17 years, Ms. Dunn’s executive management skills have been central to the phenomenal progress of Partners. As a strategic guide of the agency from its inception, she has led the naming, branding and introduction of multiple trend-setting innovations in home and community-based service programs. During her tenure, the agency has grown from $1 million to $14 million, with revenue growth from $9 million to $14 million in the last two years alone.
Commenting on Ms. Dunn’s contribution to Partner’s success, June Simmons, CEO of the organization said, “Our achievements would not have been possible without Jody’s strategic vision and focus. Her contribution has been invaluable. We will greatly miss her day-to-day presence, but are pleased that she is finally taking some time for herself, and comforted by the fact that she will continue to have a consulting presence in the organization.”
Reflecting on her time at the agency, Ms. Dunn said, “It has been my honor to be part of the ground-breaking work that Partners has undertaken in the past 17 years. I am immensely lucky to have been surrounded by a wonderful group of colleagues, whose commitment to our vision has made the often difficult task of health care reform so much easier.”
