Students from Cal State University Northridge (CSUN) spent two days learning how to help older adults avoid falls during a recent Matter of Balance Coach Training at Partners in Care Foundation. Matter of Balance classes are being held in locations across California in an effort to combat the alarming rate of falls among older adults. Walden University has announced that it has renamed its School of Social Work and Human Services in honor of Dr. Barbara Solomon, a nationally and internationally recognized pioneer in the field of social work. Dr. Solomon was one of the founding members of Partners in Care Foundation’s Board of Directors, serving from 1997 through 2008.
