RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
1999 Partners in Care Foundation (Research Center) to present Research Associate (2001 – present)
Manage and implement over 20 healthcare studies, evaluations and needs assessments. Research topics have included investigating systemic barriers that influence issues of access among minorities, end-of-life care, supporting naturally occurring retirement communities, investigating community needs of people with chronic illness such as Parkinson’s, effectiveness of alternative therapies in reducing pain, family preservation programs and developing culturally specific programs. Create and manage all data collection protocols, data systems and supervision of Project Coordinator. Collaborate with the Research Director and Research Analyst in data analysis. Assist in grant writing for various subjects including program development. Significant contributions made to the conceptual development, writing and editing of research proposals. Disseminate project findings through the presentations at professional conferences and publication in academic, peer-reviewed journals.

Trained research assistants on the proper protocol for performing data collection, such as phone interviews, data verification, data cleaning and data entry. Ensured data clean and ready for analysis through development and implementation of several quality assurance techniques.
