Meeting the Challenges of A Health Care System in Crisis
With our society undergoing dramatic changes in technology, lifestyle, populations, and costs, health care needs to shift emphasis from catastrophic cure to prevention, early intervention and self-management, especially in light of our longer life spans and growing risk of chronic conditions. Left untreated, and unmanaged, our current fragmented system costs us wasted resources and great personal suffering.
