Additional Ways To Make A Difference:
Estate and Legacy Planned Giving – If you wish to include Partners in Care Foundation in your will, your attorney should include “Partners in Care Foundation” as the legally described beneficiary. Our Federal tax ID Number: 95-3954057.
Gifts of Property – this could include real property including houses, condominiums, apartments, commercial or industrial property and vacant land. Personal property can include artwork, jewelry, vehicles, boats, aircraft. The fair market value of these
donations is deductible.
Gifts of Stock- it can be advantageous to contribute stocks in publicly traded companies as the full market value of such stocks can usually be deducted from the donor taxes.
Insurance, IRA’s – some donors may want to donate through their life insurance policies or their IRA’s. Donors can give all or part of an existing life insurance policy utilizing a Change of Beneficiary form and designating the beneficiary as Partners in Care Foundation. In order to deduct premium payments as charitable deductions, the donor must name Partners in Care Foundation as both owner and beneficiary of the policy. A donor who is at least 70 ½ years of age can donate a maximum of $100,000 from either an IRA or a Roth IRA to a tax – exempt charity, if those funds would “otherwise be included as income”. Currently this opportunity applies only to the 2006-2007 tax years. Please consult qualified financial and/or legal experts to prepare your organization to take advantage of this change in the tax law.
Sponsorships- Partners in Care Foundation annual Golf Tournament and Annual Vision and Excellence in Healthcare Leadership Tribute dinner provide naming opportunities for corporations, groups and individual participation.
