Partners in Care Foundation 10 Year Anniversary Initiative
We are a society of plenty, yet plenty of people are still in need. Dramatic changes in our world are already putting a strain on the resources of more and more families every day, and the pressure is growing every week, every month, and every year.
As study after study reveals, our nation's needs for healthcare and social services have changed significantly in a relatively brief period of time. Consider the following circumstances:
- People are living longer, which is good news, but it means that greater numbers of people will need more healthcare services for more of their senior years
- Chronic illness is on the rise, often affecting the elderly to a greater degree than other parts of the population
- More families are dispersed due to many factors, putting more pressure on single caregivers
- What has been known as the "safety net" for social and health services is continually shrinking even as many families need more guidance and direct assistance
- Care is being shifted from the traditional sources such as hospitals to care in the home, which can leave entire families vulnerable
At Partners in Care (Partners) we have been able to accomplish a great deal that has addressed these issues through successful collaborations and innovations.

Building on Our 10-Year History of Success
Partners in Care is celebrating a decade of achievement in helping address needs in these areas through model program development, dissemination and replication of proven models. Of special interest is the very fact that our not-for-profit organization has continued growing over these ten years. It has been noted many non-profit groups often are not able to sustain their good work over time due to many factors especially the constant pressure to raise funds and obtain grants to create the successful innovations. As we begin our second decade, we have a great deal of pride and genuine hope for the future.
