Santa Clarita ADHC Program Aide
This position is part time- 20 hours per week/4 hours per day/5 days per week
This position is non-exempt
Brief Requirements:
Summary: The ADHC Program Aide is responsible for the delivery of high quality, patient-centered nursing care and is able to administer a therapeutic recreation program which cognitively, physically and socially stimulates each ADHC participant. He/She demonstrates technical skill, initiative and is able to physically and socially stimulate each participant. He/She may also assist with other program functions such as preparation and organization of all food related requirements and other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum High School graduate
Classes in Life Sciences, Psychology, Human Development and the Arts
Experience:

Experience working with the geriatric population

Ability to offer appropriate and empathic support to patients

Knowledge and skill in the use of tools, arts and crafts and music would be helpful

Demonstrates a high degree of initiative and responsibility
Accountability:
The ADHC Program Aide is directly accountable to the ADHC Program Director for the achievement of the job functions.
